Job well done - very thorough and helpful - I've been a member for 10 minutes now and feel like I know 10x as much as I already did. I'll dig some more and let you guys know if there's anything I need cleared up. Thanks! Oh - some background on me - drove an '89 z31 for a year and a half - bad experience: 2 blown trannies (automatic that was rebuilt against my requests/demands - parents suck), and a killed engine. I love Z's and will do damned near anything to get another. Preferably with a 5spd and less than 180k, beat-to-hell-before-I-tried-restoring-her miles. Now I have an '03 Lancer for school the next several years. No, not an Evo, Ralliart, or any other fancy Lancer. I'm leaving it alone, save for some OZ rims to replace those worthless wheel-covered bastards. Great for gas mileage if you want a low-powered FWD for the kids and rather cheap.
